At the usual time, the alarm clock rang and I hit the snooze button, not willing to get up yet. A few minutes later, the alarm clock rang again. My desire to stay in bed remained, but I'd have been late for the big presentation if I didn't get off the bed. So I got to the kitchen and made myself a cup of coffee. With little time to spare, I poured a packet of pre-mixed coffee and some water into my mug.
On my way to work, I bought a breakfast bar at a convinience store. My train arrived at the usual time and the downtown-heading horde fought tooth and nail to get in. Fortunately, I found an open seat. I sat down and devoured the breakfast bar.
I arrived at work on time and went to the boardroom to prepare for my presentation. Before anyone arrived, I went to my desk to grab a vitamin tablet. I swallowed it, along with some of the coffee I made before coming to work.
The presentation went smoothly, but it took much longer than I have anticipated--questions were fired at me almost non-stop. By the time I left the boardroom my throat was like sandpaper. So I drank some water and swallowed a lozenge. I wondered to myself: how can anyone talk for long with a lozenge.
Before long, it was lunchtime. A few colleagues invited me to have lunch with them. They took me to a barbecue place and we devoured the ribs like these are the ribs of the last remaining cow on Earth. With all these meat in my stomach, it might be difficult to remove what remained after digestion. So I asked a colleague for a fibre tablet. I dropped the tablet into a glass of water, but it didn't dissolve. So I drank the water. By the time the glass had no more water, the tablet was gone.
At around 3:30, I felt like having a snack. So I went to my drawer and grabbed a candy bar. Afterwards I realized that I have not had any milk in the morning. That was when I went back to my drawer and ate a calcium tablet.
I left work at around 5:15. I went back home and began preparing my dinner. I found some soup tablet, thrown it into a pot of boiling water and volia. I would not have to worry about making soup for a few days. I cooked my dinner, ate it, and went to the living room to watch television.
After I switched off the TV, I glanced at the clock and decided that it was time to get some sleep. I have had trouble getting to sleep recently, so I turned over the cabinet in the bathroom to find my bottle of sleeping pills. I took one pill out, swallowed it, and soon after I was sound asleep.
